PRICES 2011 - Rooms at Family Home

As CIDAC is responsible for the quality of the family rooms, payment should be made directly to CIDAC.

Considering Wintertime from October to April and Summer time from May to September. Breakfast included. Access to equipment. Both parts (families and students) should agree on: supply of breakfast (in what it consists) / access and use of equipment/other, and extra charges.

NOTES:

• The 200H CIDAC language courses' week off is paid even if the students do not stay at the lodging.

• Payments are only to be transferred to CIDAC after the receipt of an invoice.

• CIDAC considers that the first day of the stay is the day prior to the starting date of CIDAC language course and the leaving day the day next to the last day of CIDAC language course.

• Landladies of family rooms will be waiting for the students at home. For that purpose, please send us the date (day and hour) and the number of the flight as soon as you have this information.

• If students are not satisfied with their family room and want to move, they/their organization are to pay 1/3 of the total amount, if CIDAC is informed of this during the 1st week of the course and 1/2 of the total amount if this occurs in the first half of the course. After that students should cover the total amount of the expenses.

Babysitting is one of the services CIDAC can offer, though only in the context of the Portuguese and Tétum languages training programs. It should be requested in due time, by the organizations or individual students.

The usual periods of time considered as babysitting services are those covered by the adult classes plus 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after classes. (9 am to 4 pm)

During the lunch break (12.30h - 13.30h), according to the parents needs and wills, babysitters may have their meals on their own or together with children and parents.

When parents want the babysitters to have their meals with the children, that is considered 1 hour extra.

The students week off is also considered week off for the babysitters despite payment.

As CIDAC does not have a specific space for babysitting, this service will take place where children are staying. Parents should agree with the babysitters on what they want children to do during the time they are together. (For instance, who plans the open air activities, where to go, to stay in town or go to the beach, swimming pool, to meet other children/babysitters that are at the same time in Lisbon for a CIDAC language course, etc.)

Babysitters can meet parents and children before the CIDAC course starting date if CIDAC is informed of the arrival date. The usual procedure will be that babysitters will call/visit the family and make the necessary arrangements, such as:

• place of meeting for babysitter/child - students' accommodation or at CIDAC;

• if lunch/dinner will be included or not;

• planning the activities with children, etc.

Plus month/ transport card and Euro 7,50 to cover 1 hot meal a day.
